Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "the user") and SATs Arcade ("we", "us", "our"). They govern your use of our website at satsarcade.co.uk and all related services.

By registering an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using SATs Arcade, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

SATs Arcade is an online platform that provides KS2 SATs preparation for Year 6 pupils through adaptive practice questions, mock tests, gamified learning features, and progress analytics.

The service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier available. Feature availability depends on your subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify, improve, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Children use the service through profiles managed by a parent or teacher.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not share your account with others.
• You must provide accurate information when registering. Providing false information (including pretending to be a child to gain access) is grounds for immediate account termination.
• One account per person. Bulk account creation to circumvent subscription limits is prohibited.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

SATs Arcade offers the following consumer subscription plans:

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before your next renewal.
• All prices include VAT where applicable.
• Payment: Payment is taken at the start of each billing period. If payment fails, we may suspend access until payment is resolved.

New accounts are eligible for a 7-day free trial of the Individual plan, giving full premium access. No payment is required to start the trial.

After the trial period ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan (5 lives per day). Your progress, achievements, and data are always preserved regardless of plan. You will not be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you actively choose a paid subscription.

One free trial per household. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional trials is a breach of these Terms.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Parent Dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then. No partial-month refunds are issued on monthly plans.

UK statutory cooling-off right: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel a new subscription from the date of purchase and receive a full refund, provided you have not already started using the premium service. If you begin using premium features during the 14-day period, you waive your right to a full refund (though a pro-rated refund for unused days may be offered at our discretion).

Annual plans: If you cancel an annual plan after the 14-day cooling-off period, no refund is due for the remaining months of the annual term.

To request a refund under the cooling-off right, contact us within 14 days of purchase.

School licences are sold separately on a per-pupil basis. School plans are governed by a separate School Agreement and Data Processing Agreement entered into between SATs Arcade and the subscribing school or academy trust.

• Minimum term: 1 academic term (12 weeks).
• Minimum seats: 30 pupils.
• Schools are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate parental consent before enrolling pupils.
• Annual school licences are non-refundable after 14 days except at our discretion.

You must not use SATs Arcade to:

• Attempt to hack, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service or its servers.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to use one account.
• Use automated tools to answer questions or inflate scores artificially.
• Post offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content (e.g. in display names or study group messages).
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Use the service for any purpose other than KS2 educational preparation.

Violations of this policy may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

All content on SATs Arcade — including question banks, written content, software code, artwork, and the brand — is owned by or licensed to SATs Arcade and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use the service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialise any part of SATs Arcade's content without prior written permission.

We aim to keep SATs Arcade available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out scheduled maintenance (which we will try to perform outside peak hours) and may experience unplanned outages. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SATs Arcade's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service will not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for: indirect or consequential losses; loss of data (beyond what is described in our backup policy); or losses arising from factors outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Educational outcomes: SATs Arcade is a revision tool. We make no guarantee that using the service will result in any particular SATs outcome for any child.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you are resident.
