Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "the user") and Arcade Learning Group Ltd, trading as SATs Arcade ("we", "us", "our"). Arcade Learning Group Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 17441494, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. These Terms govern your use of our website at satsarcade.co.uk and all related services.

By registering an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using SATs Arcade, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

SATs Arcade is an online platform that provides KS2 practice and SATs preparation for children in Years 3 to 6 through adaptive practice questions, mock tests, gamified learning features, and progress analytics.

The service is provided on a subscription basis. Standard and Family start with a 7-day free trial. Accounts opened before 16 October 2026 also keep the Free plan described in section 5. Feature availability depends on your subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify, improve, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

Some features (Personalised Practice) analyse your child’s answers to adapt their learning. These are off by default and switched on by you, per child, in your parent dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for how this works and your choices.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Children use the service through profiles managed by a parent or teacher.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not share your account with others.
• You must provide accurate information when registering. Providing false information (including pretending to be a child to gain access) is grounds for immediate account termination.
• One account per person. Bulk account creation to circumvent subscription limits is prohibited.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Every purchase and subscription is a contract between you and Arcade Learning Group Ltd, trading as SATs Arcade. We offer the following consumer subscription plans:

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before your next renewal.
• All prices are in GBP and are the final amount you pay. Prices include VAT where applicable.
• Payment: Payment is taken at the start of each billing period. If you start with the free trial, your first payment is taken when the trial ends (see section 5). If payment fails, we may suspend access until payment is resolved.

7-day free trial. The Standard and Family plans, monthly or annual, start with a 7-day free trial with full access to that plan. To start the trial you add a payment card at our secure checkout, run by Stripe. Nothing is charged when you add the card.

When you are charged. Unless you cancel, your card is charged the price of the plan you chose on day 7, when the trial ends, and the plan then renews each month or year as set out in section 4. The checkout page shows the amount and the date before you start. We also remind you by email before the trial ends, with the amount and the date.

How to cancel the trial. Cancel at any time before the trial ends from Settings, then Plan & billing, and you won't be charged. Cancelling does not ask you to sign in again. You keep full access until the trial ends, and you can resume from the same place before then.

After a cancelled trial. If you cancel during the trial you keep full access until it ends. After that your account, your children's profiles and their progress are kept, but the app is locked until you choose a paid plan. You can rejoin at any time from Settings, then Plan & billing. A second free trial is not available.

Accounts that have not started a plan. An account becomes active when a free trial or a paid plan starts at checkout. An account that has not started one stays inactive: it can sign in and start a trial or plan, but children cannot practise on it.

If a trial is not available. Each account and each email address can have one free trial. If yours has been used, your plan starts and is charged on the day you join. The 30-day money-back guarantee in section 6 still applies.

Accounts opened before 16 October 2026. These keep the Free plan: 5 lives a day shared by all the account's child profiles and 3 arcade games a day. A wrong answer costs a life. Lives and games come back at midnight UK time. Full mock tests and the mini mock are not part of the Free plan. These accounts can still take one free trial, and when it ends they return to the Free plan. Your progress, achievements and data are kept whatever your plan.

One trial per account. Each account, and each email address, can have one free trial. Creating more accounts to obtain more trials is a breach of these Terms.

30-day money-back guarantee: If a paid plan is not right for your family, contact us for a full refund within 30 days of signing up, including your 7-day free trial. "Signing up" means the day you start the plan at checkout, which is the first day of the free trial when you have one. The refund covers every payment taken for that plan in those 30 days, there are no conditions, and we end the plan when we refund it. This guarantee sits on top of your statutory rights below and does not replace them. The money-back guarantee applies once per account.

Cancellation: You can cancel at any time from Settings, then Plan & billing. Cancelling does not ask you to sign in again. It takes effect at the end of the trial or of your current billing period, and you keep full access until then. You can resume from the same place before that date. Apart from the money-back guarantee and the cooling-off rights below, no partial refunds are given for the rest of a billing period.

UK statutory cooling-off right: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of starting it. This right is on top of our 30-day money-back guarantee, which already gives a full refund within 30 days of signing up.

Cooling-off after a trial ends and after each annual renewal: You can also cancel within 14 days after your free trial turns into a paid plan, and within 14 days after each annual renewal. If you do, we end the plan and refund the payment in proportion to the time left in that billing period. To use this right, cancel in Plan & billing and contact us within the 14 days.

Early bird offer (sold until 30 September 2026). A single payment of £149 for Standard access, with one child profile and no 11+ Prep, ending at 23:59 UK on the Sunday of KS2 SATs week 2027. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. Buying it ends any monthly or yearly subscription on the account from that moment, with no refund of the unused part of that period. Our 30-day money-back guarantee applies to it, counted from the day you bought it.

Annual plans: If you cancel an annual plan after the money-back guarantee and the cooling-off periods above have passed, no refund is due for the remaining months of the annual term. You keep access until the end of it.

To ask for a refund under the money-back guarantee or either cooling-off right, contact us within the period that applies.

School licences are sold separately on a per-pupil basis. School plans are governed by a separate School Agreement and Data Processing Agreement entered into between Arcade Learning Group Ltd (trading as SATs Arcade) and the subscribing school or academy trust.

• Minimum term: 1 academic term (12 weeks).
• Minimum seats: 30 pupils.
• Schools are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate parental consent before enrolling pupils.
• Annual school licences are non-refundable after 14 days except at our discretion.

You must not use SATs Arcade to:

• Attempt to hack, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service or its servers.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to use one account.
• Use automated tools to answer questions or inflate scores artificially.
• Post offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content (e.g. in display names or study group messages).
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Use the service for any purpose other than KS2 educational preparation.

Violations of this policy may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

All content on SATs Arcade — including question banks, written content, software code, artwork, and the brand — is owned by or licensed to Arcade Learning Group Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use the service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialise any part of SATs Arcade's content without prior written permission.

We aim to keep SATs Arcade available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out scheduled maintenance (which we will try to perform outside peak hours) and may experience unplanned outages. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service will not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for: indirect or consequential losses; loss of data (beyond what is described in our backup policy); or losses arising from factors outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Educational outcomes: SATs Arcade is a revision tool. We make no guarantee that using the service will result in any particular SATs outcome for any child.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you are resident.
